In digital forensics news recently, I’ve posted a couple of things over at Forensic Focus.
Firstly, a recap of ICDF2C 2018, which took place in New Orleans a few weeks ago. An interesting conference, pleasantly small and with a strong focus on academia, it’s definitely one to watch. Read my full round-up here.
A few months ago we ran a reader survey over at Forensic Focus, and I finally got around to analysing the results, which you can find here. Broadly, the main challenges listed were encryption and the volume of data per case. ISO 17025 standardisation continues to be a controversial topic, with 42% of respondents saying their organisations weren’t going to attain accreditation.
Also, thank you to everyone who left nice notes. You made my day.
